Denise Bell, RMT
Oncology Massage Therapist
As a 2010 graduate of the Colorado School of Healing Arts, I am prepared to use the latest techniques and modalities to bring healing and relaxation to my clients. I've been trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Sports, and Oncology Massage, as well as Chair Massage. In addition, I have had extensive training in Anatomy, Physiology, Palpation, Nutrition and hold an active CPR certification.
I am currently continuing my training in a variety of Oncology Massage techniques and Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I am very excited about working hand-in-hand with the medical community to serve those brave individuals who are making the journey through and beyond cancer, as well as survivors who are managing the lingering effects of the illness and treatment, while getting back to the business of enjoying a joyful and meaningful quality of life.
As a three year survivor of breast cancer, I feel that I have a special affinity for cancer paitients and the members of the medical community that serve them. Prior to my own diagnosis, I worked as a CPA and Tax Specialist for 23 years, giving me a business perspective of working with people and providing education to clients. Now I am bringing that perspective to the business of assisting those who are following me on the journey through cancer. I feel so fortunate that I was able to maintain a positive and cheerful attitude throughout my treatments, and I hope to bring that same joyful spirit to those I encounter in all walks of life.
